first checkpoint...

so the first checkpoint has come and gone. i have posted my images below i would really appreciate some constructive criticism please!

concept is deconstruction, shown through location, hairstyling and makeup.

models were melissa, who i worked with last semester and leeroy, who had never done a photoshoot before. my sister from jsmakeup did the makeup and sheryn from hair in the city was my hair stylist. the tartan clothing is from rockstars and royalty, designed by vicky kidd-gallichan.

concept for this shoot is death by fashion

5 models were involved- melissa, emma, cristabelle, jacqui- who was also my head makeup artist and lois- who was the assistant makeup artist. sheryn was my hair styist. this was the first time i worked with a clothing stylist- vicktoria, together with my sister we all styled the models to create the complete looks. vicktoia made the hats and fascinators that are featured in the photos- i will post a link to her blog when i get it.

overall the shoot was very chaotic, when you have so many people on board it can be very complicated to ensure your vision is understood and accomplished. i was not up to my game and as a result i have not created the images i wanted to. i am considering re-shooting.
